Axle Informatics is a bioinformatics and health data science company that partners with federal agencies and research institutions to advance scientific discovery and public health initiatives.
I run two main projects. The first is a Photoshop-like tool for visualizing, analyzing, and manipulating multi-terabyte 3D light microscopy datasets, with annotation and labeling tools, AI-assisted and automated segmentation, and a human-in-the-loop workflow for iteratively retraining models on new data. The second aims to give the healthcare data ecosystem a shared conversion language: a schema-agnostic DSL and runtime for bidirectional transformation between incompatible EHR standards like FHIR and OMOP CDM.
